The series was produced to support the National Open College Network (NOCN) regional and national programmes.
The units that make up these programmes were developed as a response to the revised Community Development Work National Occupational Standards. The national programme was created to meet the expressed needs of many training providers for a coherent, national OCN programme offering certificates in all levels.
The project was active between November 06-March 08.
