Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre

The Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre, serving Yorkshire and the Humber, has been running since 2003 and is one of six regional centres based across the country. It is supported by Communities and Local Government in order to provide effective training and support to managers, workers and residents who work in neighbourhoods and communities across the region.

The courses offered provide a range of skills for the region’s community wardens as well as a host of community groups including police community support officers, community development workers, health practitioners, local government personnel and neighbourhood management.

The Neighbourhood Training and Resource Centre acts as a hub of information, providing advice and support to new and existing organisations across. They are involved in, and support, a range of networks across the region providing opportunities to share skills and knowledge.

Further information on the Centre can be found on their website – www.neighbourhoodresource.org
